Attendance

The guidelines of attendance requirement issued by the Bharathiar University are adopted by the College. Attendance shall be considered semester wise (not annually).

• Students with 75% of attendance are eligible to appear for the examinations.
• Students having 65 to 74% of attendance are allowed to appear for the examinations on payment of the condonation fee.
• Students Possessing 50 to 64% of attendance are eligible to write only the arrear papers.
• Students with 49% of attendance and below have to re-do by rejoining the same semester during the next year. However, students are eligible to write arrear papers.
• Deficiency of the attendance in one semester shall be compensated in the subsequent semester such that the combined attendance of those two semesters will be taken into account for determining the eligibility of a candidate to be permitted to appear for the end Semester Examinations.
• A candidate will be given only one opportunity to carry forward the deficiency in attendance of one semester during the Degree course, failing which he/she has to re-do the course with the permission of the University.
